• To reach Hamburg MSC Cruises disposes of discounted tickets for the Deutsche Bahn. These are valid for the trip to / from Hamburg in all trains (ICE, EC / IC, IR, RE, RB, NCL) and from / to all stations of the Deutsche Bahn AG.
  Children (6-14 years) may travel free of charge, but a ticket is still required.
  Children under 6 are not required a ticket.
  Note: This discounted train offer is only valid in connection with your MSC cruise. Please note the advance booking period of at least 30 days prior to departure.

• Our MSC Shuttle Service from the main train station to Steinwerder (price € 10, - per person / each way) is also available. Please choose the exit Kirchenallee, turn right and walk across the street crossing to the ZOB (main bus station diagonally opposite the central station), where the MSC Shuttle leaves for the port. This service can be purchased on site with one of our hostesses.

  A luggage drop off point will be available for you at the train station as well at a small charge.

 MSC Orchestra will berth at Cruise Center Altona Van-der-Smissen-Straße 5, 22767 Hamburg, Germany.

From direction A7:
Take exit 29 towards HH-Othmarschen, follow signs for Elbbrücken / Zentrum / Altona, follow Walderseestrasse and then Behringstrasse. Turn right to Hohenzollernring, turn left to Elbchaussee and follow Klopstockstraße. Turn right into Kaistraße, then left into Grosse Elbstrasse. Turn right onto Van-der-Smissen-Straße and follow the signs for the Cruise Center Altona.

From direction A1 / A255 / A252 / B4 / B75:
After the Elbbrücken (Billhorner Brückenstraße) take the exit direction Freihafen / HafenCity. Follow Zweibrückenstraße, Versmannstraße and Überseeallee to Osakaallee. Keep left: At Sandtorkai turn left towards Baumwall (or take the path as indicated). Pass Landungsbrücken, the St. Pauli Hafenstraße and the St. Pauli Fischmarkt. Then follow the signs for the Cruise Center Altona or follow the Breite Straße, Palmaille-Kaistraße and Große Elbstraße to Edgar-Engelhard-Kai.

From direction A24:
Follow the A24 to Hammer Kreisel - Sievekingsallee - Bürgerweide. Turn left into Heidenkampsweg, turn right into Bergfelderstraße. Drive towards Deichtorhallen, follow the Willy Brandt-Straße and the Reeperbahn, turn left to Pepermölenbek. Follow the signs for Cruise Center Altona or follow the Breite Straße, Palmaille-Kaistraße and Große Elbstraße to Edgar-Engelhard-Kai.

MSC Shuttle Service:
If you have booked your flight via MSC, your transfer to the cruise terminal is already included. One of our multilingual staff will meet you at the exit of the airport and take you to your bus, which will take you directly to the berth of the ship.
If you have arranged a flight yourself, MSC Cruises offers you the possibility to book an individual airport transfer. The booking is made via your travel agency or our contact center, indicating the flight details (airline, flight route from / to, flight number, departure and arrival time).

Public transportation:
You can also use public transport to get to the main train station from the airport. Take the city train (S1) direction Blankenese / Wedel to Hamburg Altona. From there, take bus 111 to the "Cruise Terminal Altona" stop.
Alternatively, you can get off at the city train station "Königsstraße" and reach the Cruise Center Altona after about 15 minutes on foot.

For Hamburg we offer you the discounted tickets of Deutsche Bahn. These are valid for the round trip to / from Hamburg in all trains (ICE, EC / IC, IR, RE, RB, NCL) and from / to all stations of the Deutsche Bahn AG. Rail prices start at € 55, - per person / each way (depending on class and possession of a discount card “Bahncard”). Children (6-14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by parents / grandparents, but need a ticket! Children under the age of 6 are not required to bring a ticket. Note: The train tickets are only valid in connection with your MSC cruise. Please note the advance booking period of at least 30 days prior to departure.

MSC Shuttle Service:
Feel free to use our chargeable MSC shuttle service from Central Station to Cruise Center Altona for € 10 per person / each way. This service can be booked on site at one of our hostesses. The meeting point is at the exit Kirchenallee.

Public transportation:
You can also take public transport to Altona. Take S1 or S3 from Hauptbahnhof to the station "Königsstraße". From here you can reach the Cruise Center Altona in about 15 minutes on foot. Alternatively you can take the S1 / S3 / S11 / S31 to the station "Altona" and from there take bus 111 to the stop "Cruise Terminal Altona".

Flughafen Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel Airport
